Hi! My name is Margit McCabe and I am holding a cookie bouquet my husband sent me for our third wedding anniversary in a row we were not together while he was serving his country. Fortunately, he has returned safely to us after a little over two years being away from us. Every day we pray for those troops and families who are still out there that they too will be reunited.
We have been married now for 26 happy years. We have two wonderful boys together. One is an eagle scout already and the other one is almost there.
I've been a Close to my Heart consultant since 1994. When I signed up I needed to quit my fulltime job so I could stay home with my small children [who aren't that small anymore
] and I was introduced to this wonderful art. At the time I knew nothing about stamping. Close to my Heart provided me with training to learn what I needed to grow in my art as well as in my business. That training is only getting better. A lot has happened since my last post here and I have decided to use this as my little blog, so I hope you will stop by more often. I may start putting some of my entries into an archive. Stay tuned for that as well. One of the "news" is that my husband is once again leaving to serve. And yes, it will be another anniversary ... old news by now for us. It will be our 30th anniversary this year. We will try somehow or another to be together. If nothing else, we have our pictures. If we make it - I will post the pictures!
I will post some tidbits for you that might be helpful in your card making and scrapbooking and hopefully you will be returning many times.
One of the greatest tools now on this website is our CTMH TV - if you have not watched any of the segments - do it now. Its like a mini gathering at home. When you feel like having some friends over yourself, give me a call and I will help you out with making those projects!

Tomorrow night I will host another one of my Premier Nights. If you are in my area and if you have not stopped by, you should try to visit! We always have fun - not just for checking out the great new products and prices, but I always have great food :)
At this point I might also thought might share that I was just notified by my teamleader that I was once again in the top 3 of our team for recruiting, top 10 of sales and our team was in the top 10 for sales as well! Way to go Candle Light Stampers! It is great to see my accomplishment at the end of the year, but also want to make sure to let my team members know that I could not do it without them and my customers that they help me as well. Thank you! And the best thing about it - we have fun doing it :)
